Your Role

We are looking for a Director of Clinical Engineering to work with the VP, Integrated Operations, Market President, and CEO on all facets of aptihealth’s Integrated Behavioral Health programming, value-based care delivery, and all other growth initiatives.

This is a hands-on role where you will collaborate across the organization to strategize, plan, coordinate, direct, and design the business process activities to support and enhance mission-critical growth initiatives. You will work closely with decision makers in other departments to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective solutions for all aspects of the organization.

The Director of Clinical Engineering will work closely with the Growth team to prepare comprehensive action plans, including resource needs, timeframes and budgets for all projects aligning with the Growth goals of the organization. The Director of Clinical Engineering will also establish and maintain project documentation, assess risk management associated with the projects, track all costs and respond to financial queries. They will engineer processes to support successful program implementations and will monitor program processes and associated metrics to ensure continued success with program growth.


Strategy & Planning

  • Works alongside executive leadership to develop the strategic, innovative and high-quality processes, standards, and technical solutions required to achieve short and long-term business goals, producing and executing Architecture roadmaps, according to growth phases

  • Build and direct an Enterprise Architecture program that traverses all areas of the business and reenforces a strategic and continuous improvement approach to business development

  • Lead key initiatives with direct support from IT, PMO, and other necessary business functions

  • Partner with various teams to identify and execute on growth opportunities and process improvements that leverage the business’ strengths, improve operational effectiveness, reduce waste, and enhance the patient and client experience

Supporting Growth Priorities

  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to champion and execute a continuous feedback loop that informs tactical and strategic decision

  • Manage project management activities, resources, equipment and information

  • Liaise with clients to identify and define requirements, scope and objectives

  • Liaise with vendors and partner organizations

  • Review and improve applied standards and practices

  • Implement and oversee project deliverables

  • Development dashboard/snapshot of Program status throughout implementation period

  • Oversee Statements of Work

  • Develop and oversee project budgets

  • Analyze risks and opportunities

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations for each program

  • Ensure the creation and maintenance of comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports


  • BS/BA in Business or relevant field, MS/MBA a plus

  • Proven experience as a program coordinator or similar role

  • An ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules and step-by-step action plans

  • Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management

  • Strong client-facing and teamwork skills

  • Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance control

  • Ability to work both virtually and on-site

  • Proficient in MS Office and web-based portals, including video-chat platforms
