Operate trucks or other multi-purpose vehicles to transport workers from housing (whether on or off farm) to the farm properties; haul tools, supplies, or crops; transport workers from place to place around the farm properties during the workday (including on public roads to reach farmers fields and/or transport workers to the grocery store, or bank on an as-needed basis. Load agricultural products into trucks, and drive trucks to market or storage facilities. Not all workers are requested to drive; drivers will be required to possess a valid operators license. No one will be rejected for the position that does not possess a class D license.
Manually plant, cultivate, & harvest fruit & vegetables including but not limited to: cherries, peaches, plums, apples, pears, nectarines, cucumbers, peppers, tomatoes, squash, pumpkins, cabbage, kale & collard greens. Use hand tools, such as shovels, trowels, hoes, tampers, pruning hooks, shears, & knives. Duties include tilling soil & applying fertilizers; transplanting, weeding, thinning, or pruning crops. Construct trellises, repair fences & farm buildings, or participate in irrigation activities. Set up & operate irrigation equipment. Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery to plow, harrow & fertilize soil or to plant & cultivate & harvest crops. Harvest fruits & vegetables by hand. Pick apples for fresh marketing and/or processing. All fruit to be handled with care to avoid bruising. Fruit injured by bruising not to exced 4%. Inform farmers or farm manager of crop progress. Clear and maintain irrigation ditches. Must be physically able to lift up to 75lbs on a consistent basis throughout the day. While working in the field, cell phone usage is limited to emergency use only. Phones use must be limited to break times and lunch break.
Workers are screened for compliance with the following criteria: 1.) confirm ability, availability, qualifications and willingness to perform work described and confirm intuition to work the entire season 2) local workers confirm availability of reliable daily transportation to and from the job site for the entire season. Non-local workers confirm availability of transportation to job site to begin work 3) confirmation of full disclosure of all terms, condition, and nature of work-job by local employment staff.

- Minimum of three months verifiable experience in performing the tasks described in this order
- Exposure to extreme temperatures
