Our Recruiting team is responsible for building out successful project teams by driving the company’s critical staffing needs, on-boarding processes, recruiting programs and processes. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be sourcing candidates, screening resumes, scheduling and setting up interviews with hiring managers and extending offers.

Will consider applicants in NY and IL.

  • Actively maintain clear lines of communication with candidates and other recruiters as necessary to drive a seamless hiring process

  • Organize and coordinate interview details in a high volume environment

  • Be responsible for the creation, maintenance, and data integrity of requisitions within our Applicant Tracking System (ATS)

  • Effectively manage multiple, competing, and changing projects and successfully prioritize tasks

  • Help drive recruitment process for select requisitions and client groups

  • Assist with planning and organizing recruitment activities and events

  • Completing onboarding process for new associates and assuring compliance

  • Manage the posting process for job requisitions to external hiring boards

  • Review applications, conduct screenings of candidates, track candidates and recruitment progress

  • Partner with hiring managers throughout interview process, make recommendations and drive offer process

  • Bachelor’s degree and more than 2 years of business or recruiting experience; ideal candidate has prior experience working for a construction or engineering firm

  • Strong and demonstrated focus on customer or candidate experience

  • High standards and attention to detail; strong planning and time management skills

  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills; data analysis ability a plus

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong knowledge of state and federal recruitment and selection laws and guidelines.

  • Knowledge of construction industry a plus

  • Experience working with an ATS (preferably iCIMS) a plus

  • Experience working with LinkedIn Recruiter a plus

  • Some travel may be required during peak recruiting seasons (up to 10%)
