STV Incorporated Compensation Manager - 3298 in Comstock, New York


STV is seeking a Compensation Manager to lead the function and help impact our long-term strategy of improving the employee experience. In this role, you will work directly with our Chief People Officer to design and implement compensation programs and policies that support STV's compensation philosophy. The ideal candidate is a seasoned compensation data expert, curious learner, effective collaborator, and creative problem solver. No restriction on location for this position. Position reports to our Chief People Officer.
Key Responsibilities:
Utilize data and analytics to provide general oversight, direction, and implementation support for STV's compensation programs including:
Job/position structures
Career models
Annual rewards cycle (salary administration process)
Variable compensation programs
Additional responsibilities include:
Developing and mentoring the current Compensation Analyst, a talented, high potential team member
Serving as a key member of the Human Resources Leadership Team to help develop and drive overall HR strategy for STV
Leveraging tools and technology to simplify and streamline compensation processes
Collaborating with business leaders, managers, HR Business Partners, and other HR colleagues to define and implement compensation solutions
Monitoring, tracking, and evaluating compensation program effectiveness, adjusting as needed in the spirit of continuous improvement
Staying up to date on wage compliance and ensuring the company remains compliant with local, state, and federal law
Acquisition due diligence on compensation programs and integration review, recommendations, and implementation
Five+ years of relevant experience
Experience with compensation survey methodology and participation
Experience with formal compensation salary structures
Detail orientated and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Experience in A/E/C industry or with organizations with engineering or architectural employee populations preferred, but not required
CCP certification a plus.
