The Role:

Assist guests at live events by selling and distributing admission tickets and informing guests of events and ticket policies.

Job Functions:

Sell tickets and passes to patrons at events, inside and outside of the box office.Assist with sales throughout venue, including: parking lot tickets, lawn chair rentals, bag check, and other upsells.Examine tickets or passes to verify authenticity, using criteria such as color, ticket type, or date issued.Handle cash for ticket purchase transactions and give proper change as appropriate, balancing cash and tickets at the end of the shift.Lookup ticket purchase records and print tickets.Distribute pre-purchased tickets to patrons at the box office on demand.Resolve ticketing problems, such as seating disputes or other guest concerns at Guest Services .Provide information to patrons concerning events, ticket policies, ticket pricing and availability.Show CARE by participating in venue recycling efforts before, during and after the show.Provide assistance to guests' special needs, such as helping those with wheelchairs.Maintain good customer relations and service.Greet guests attending events, and provide general guest direction and assistance as necessary.Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalentAble to stand for long periods of time. Position requires constant walking, climbing stairs, and some lifting.Accuracy in handling financial transactionsAttention to detail, quality and accuracyStrong relationship building and communication skillsAbility to work independentlyExcellent verbal and written communication skillsKnowledge and genuine interest in the industryTeam playerAbility to work flexible hours
