SUNY Cortland Human Resources Publicity Coordinator/Production Manager in Cortland, New York

Publicity Coordinator/Production ManagerAcademic AffairsSL3The Publicity Coordinator /Production Manager, in conjunction with the Academic Chair, Musical Theatre Coordinator, and department faculty, is responsible for the marketing, public relations, and production management of four to five musicals or plays each academic season. The Manager is also responsible for all publicity, marketing, and recruitment for the Performing Arts Department. This position reports academic department chairs and works in close collaboration with departmental faculty and professional staff.Required Qualifications:•BFA/BA in Theatre, Arts Administration, or commensurate professional experience•Experience working in Performing/Arts Administration/Management•Experience working in Marketing/Public Relations•Experience marketing using social media•Experience working with a diverse communityPreferred Qualifications:•MFA/MA in Performing Arts Management or Theatre Management•Experience working as production manager in a collegiate theatre/performing arts program•Experience working as a Performing Arts administrator in professional theatre•Experience promoting diversity and multicultural programs•Graphic design experience•Demonstrated success in effectively promoting a performing arts venue and or institutionTo apply and learn more about the position, please visit: https://jobs.cortland.edu/postings/7775THE DEPARTMENTThe Department of Performing Arts at SUNY Cortland provides young performers with the skill set needed to become successful theatre artists.
