Food Service Worker - 67 fulltime, temporary, seasonal (H-2B) jobs available 4/1/25-11/2/2025.

Job Duties: Providing guests with excellent service & quality food while operating cash register in accordance with Six Flags cash handling policies. Interact with guests, team members, leads, & supervisors dally. Resolve guest concerns that arise daily. Ensure that image, cleanliness, and courtesy standards are met daily. Duties include filling condiment dispensers, refilling soda machine syrups, timely preparation of food served to customers. Fast food items served: fruit, vegetables, hamburgers, hot dogs, corn dogs, chicken strips, French fries, onion rings, funnel cakes, dispensing soft serve and scooping hard packed ice cream. Specific job duties/functions: assist with prep for the day, getting things such condiments prepped and cut, items unpacked from Freezer; prepare the various food Items; clean up all the cooking equipment at the end of the shift maintain regular & prompt attendance, be positive, in uniform, on time for each scheduled shift.

Work Hours: Employer is offering 35 hours per week at a rate of $15.74/hr. Employer is offering up to 20 hours of overtime per week, as needed but not guaranteed. Overtime is paid at a rate of $23.61/hr for working greater than 40 hours in any given week. Monday- Sunday 6:00am -11:00pm. Days and shifts may vary. Holidays, weekends, and evenings required as needed. Employer reserves the right to pay a higher wage, rate, or bonus to any worker, in their sole discretion, based on performance, skill, tenure, or experience. Employer is offering up to 10 hours of paid on the job training.
Employer requires tan or black pants/shorts/capris and a Six Flags logoed polo. 3 logoed polos will be provided to each worker as "wash and wear" items as well as one logoed sweater. Workers will be responsible for laundering own uniform. Pursuant to https://dol.ny.gov/system/files/documents/2021/12/ls400.pdf a weekly Maintenance Pay is not required.
A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. Workers will be paid weekly on Friday. All deductions from the workers paycheck required by law will be made.
Optional Employer Housing provided at a cost of $86.80/week to the worker.
Employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job.
H-2B workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees).
Transportation (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed, if the worker completes half the employment period. Return transportation will be provided if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early by the employer. Daily subsistence rates are $15.88/day without receipts or up to $59/day with receipts.
