The ideal candidate lives within the Tyler, TX region.- Services fluid fill appliance products at customer site, including installation, repairs, preventative maintenance, etc.- Commissions, calibrates, and services new or modified equipment at customer's facility to ensure full functionality according to specifications.- Reviews performance reports and documentation from customers and field representatives, and inspects malfunctioning or damaged product to determine nature and scope of problem.- Analyzes review and inspection findings to determine source of problem, and recommends repair, replacement, or other corrective action.- Coordinates problem resolution with engineering, customer service, and other personnel to expedite repairs.- Provides on-site technical assistance to help troubleshoot and repair equipment.- Develops and conducts training on the safe operations of the equipment and demonstrates skills to trainees, including both team members and customers. - Associate's degree in mechanical discipline from a two-year college or technical school. *Bachelor's Degree in engineering preferred.- 2+ years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.- *Travel up to 20%+ of the time, sometimes internationally. *After the 1st year, travel will increase to80%.- Must have mechanical and electrical skills having experience in a production/assembly line type of environment.- Proficient in DVM, O-Scope, and instruments used in troubleshooting of electro schematics diagrams.- Must have PLC/Automation skills.- Experience in HVAC/R is a plus.- Must be able to read and interpret documents such as technical drawings, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.- Must be able to write routine reports and correspondence.- Must possess strong communication, math, and computer skills. Minimum Salary: 38.00 Maximum Salary: 42.00 Salary Unit: Hourly
