Whitsons Culinary Group Food Service Worker - Camp Blue Bay East Hampton in East Hampton, New York
Whitsons Culinary Group is in search of a reliable, hardworking individual to join our team. Work in a 7day week Camp serving breakfast/lunch/ dinner. This is a SUMMER ONLY POSITION Start date 7/1/24 - End date 8/16/24 and is responsible for the following: * Preparing of all food and menu items. * Serves meals to campers and staff. * Willing to learn new tasks. * Performs cleaning duties, including cleaning of equipment and work areas, dishwashing and pot washing. * Sets up hot and/or cold food area. * Checks temperatures and records appropriately. * Must be flexible with scheduling and able to work as needed. * Performs all other duties as assigned. Payrange - $22-$25 per hour * High school graduate or equivalent. * Able to work 1 weekend day each week. * Ability to speak and read English in order to understand and perform job assignments. * Food service experience preferred * Extensive physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting up to 40lbs, bending, pushing, and pulling. * Willing to be trained in different job areas pertaining to food and sanitation * Must be fingerprinted Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Protected Veterans/Disabled
