Overview

As an Intern at INFICON, you will be responsible for supporting Development Engineers with analysis, design, testing and troubleshooting complex analog and mixed-signal circuits. As an individual, we are looking for you to be highly motivated to learn new things, be creative, and be able to work on exciting and unique tasks in a fast-paced, agile environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support Development Engineers as required

Trouble shoot current analog and digital circuits with some supervision

Analyze systems/circuits using Matlab/ LabVIEW or similar simulation tool

Simulate circuits/systems using PSpice or similar simulation tool

Perform functional testing on products or boards

Perform data collection effectively by using Microsoft Office products and current data collection methods

Perform in a fast paced design and manufacturing environment

Generate reports as required

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

In process of completing a technical degree with in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem solving skills with attention to system level design and quality

Ability to analyze, design and test analog and digital circuits

Hands on ability such as soldering or ability to learn

Ability to work independently and be self-motivated while remaining part of a close knit team.

Excellent communication skills including verbal, written and presentation.

Strong priority and time management skills.

Proficiency in MS Office
