    This is for an Extended School Year (ESY) program and is considered a BOCES ESY position.

LOCATION OF POSITION: Monroe One BOCES - 41 O’Connor Road, Fairport NY 14450; Various Locations

TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: July 10, 2025 - August 20, 2025. 7 hours a day, hours TBD by location. For all BOCES Programs Pre and Post summer trainings and set-up as directed.

Mandatory Summer Set-Up Meetings:

June 4th = O’Connor Academy, eStart, Transition/Employment, Creekside (BPA Unit + TES Staff)

June 11th = Creekside (BUP Unit)

June 12th = Bird/Morgan

SALARY RANGE:$21.73 - $34.01 per hour or your 2024-25 rate in this title for current Monroe One Boces staff

*Actual Salary Is Dependent Upon Education, Experience and Contract.

DUTIES:

  1. Implement services under supervision of Occupational Therapist to meet goals/objectives of students’ IEPs.

    1. Participate in staffing meetings and classroom related activities of the summer program.

    2. Generate summary reports, or other required paperwork within the scope of the summer program and as requested by supervising Occupational Therapist, BOCES program principals and Occupational/Physical Therapy Program Coordinator.

    3. Work collaboratively with Teacher/Educational Team/Program Administrators.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

  2. Civil Service eligibility forCertified Occupational Therapy Assistant: Certification by the NYS Education Department as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.

    1. Must be available for all 30 days of the summer program.

    2. Must have Medicaid Relevant training and NPI number.

    3. Physically able to perform essential functions of the position (with or without reasonable accommodation).

Employment is contingent upon student enrollment and availability of programs. First consideration to current BOCES employees if applications are submitted by 3/21/2025.
