Overview Catholic Health Home Care and Good Shepherd Hospice New Graduate Practical Nurse Residency Program (Paid training) Catholic Health is excited to offer a transition to practice program for New Graduate Practical Nurses seeking an opportunity in Home Health and Hospice practice . We are looking for new graduates passionate about making a difference in patients' lives at home. Our next program is scheduled to start Summer 2024. This 6 month paid program will expose new graduates to home care/hospice through a mix of educational curriculum and opportunities, supervised visits, and ongoing mentor/peer support and collaboration. Job Details Our GPN Residency provides: In-person learning provided by skills nurse educators and mentors to assist with your transition to practice Active hands-on training with a mentor Active hands-on training with a WOCN Support at every level of the learning experience The Residency Program will educate and apply key skills including, but not limited to – critical thinking, evidence-based practice, time management, wound and ostomy care, chronic disease management, and quality improvement. Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing. Please include your GPA on your application. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Home Health (HHA) experience a plus Salary Range USD $32.00 - USD $40.00 /Hr. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job, and it does not include the value of benefits.
