Creative Circle, LLC Motion Graphics Designer (Sports) - 111629 in Floral Park, New York

DescriptionOur client, a professional hockey team based on Long Island, is seeking a part time freelance Motion Graphics Designer with proven sports experience to support their team for 1 month of work (15-20 hours / week), with the possibility to extend!Please note: This is a fully remote position, estimated 15-20 hours of work per week. You must work EST hours. You will need to work off of your own equipment with your own software licenses!The Motion Graphics Designer will:- Take static brand assets for the 23-24 season, add motion and evolve them, inclusive of social media (birthday posts, game highlights, career milestones, etc.) and onsite / game day (ribbon boards, standing displays, show opens, 50/50 raffle, etc.)- Create title and end cards, text animations for promos / videos, etc. for social media- Create 6-7 templates so that the in-house creative team can drop animations into the build as needed- Elevate current designs that promote audience engagement and interaction while keeping brand identity and cohesiveness at the forefront of your thinking- Support both the in-house creative team and the in-arena video / game presentation team- Work within brand guidelines and any established campaign structure as needed but have the ability to push concepts, elevate designs and come to the table with fresh ideasThe Motion Graphics Designer must:- Have at least 4-5 years of motion graphics / animation experience, with proven experience conceptualizing and executing high-level campaign work- Previous experience in a sports or sports adjacent role is required- Have a portfolio that showcases campaign conception and execution as well as strong animated type examples- Be proficient in After Effects and the Adobe Creative Suite- 3D knowledge (C4D or Blender) is a plus but not required- Have proven experience designing for all social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tik Tok and Snapchat) and have proven knowledge of best practices across all social platforms- Be able to complete projects in a timely manner, within scope- Be passionate and invested in your work- Be able to complete projects in a timely manner, within scope- Be excited to work with a sports organization / be interested in their work- Be accustomed to working in a fast-paced environment with ability to multi-task and collaborate- Be able to switch gears on a moments notice and adapt to shifting priorities- Be able to manage your own time, work independently, and prioritize tasks- Be willing to work flexible hours around hockey games including weekends, holidays, etc.Creative Circle's Freelance Employee benefits package includes eligibility for Minimum Essential Coverage (MEC) medical plan, dental/vision/term life package, discount prescription program, critical illness, accident, tele-behavioral health, and 401(k) plan.
