USTA Beverage Runner (Seasonal) in Flushing, New York

We are seeking Beverage Runners to play an essential role in the US Open experience. In this role, you will deliver all beverage products and equipment throughout the NTC while maintaining a positive, outgoing demeanor.


  • Unload beverage trucks efficiently both manually and using hand trucks or pallet jacks

  • Timely deliver beverage product and equipment safely throughout US Open grounds

  • Organize stock and maintain sufficient inventory levels in all designated locations

  • Routinely report to Beverage Supervisor and execute daily tasks as needed

  • Keep all storage and inventory areas clean at all times

  • Assist supervisor in fielding phone calls and receiving beverage order requests

  • All other duties as assigned


  • Basic proficiency in computers and ability to learn the inventory management software

  • Ability to lift 50lbs+

  • Must have prior customer service experience

  • Demonstrate professional appearance by adhering to company uniform guidelines

  • Arrive on time for each shift and be able to work long hours as needed

  • Maintain a positive attitude and represent the core values of the USTA at all times

  • Must be available to work the full duration of the 2020 US Open (August 24-Sept 13)

  • Available to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed

  • Must be able to work outside for long periods of time in various weather conditions

  • Excellent communication, written and verbal skills

  • Thorough understanding of written and spoken English

  • Demonstrated ability working in a fast-paced, high stress environment

  • Must be capable of standing and walking continuously for extended periods of time
