USTA US Open Beverage Supervisor in Flushing, New York

We are seeking Beverage Supervisors to play an essential role in the US Open experience. In this role, you will supervise a team and ensure inventory levels are accurate and correlate with inventory.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise a beverage team of up to 10 employees

  • Ensure all beverage deliveries are unloaded safely and efficiently

  • Lead teams to deliver beverage products and equipment timely throughout the NTC

  • Track and record daily inventory levels using inventory management software

  • Place and record orders with vendors via phone/email

  • Keep all storage and inventory areas clean at all times

  • Create and manage a detailed spreadsheet consisting of all products ordered

  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Basic proficiency in computers and ability to learn the inventory management software

  • Ability to lift 50lbs+

  • Punctual and presentable shift attendance, neatly groomed in clean, well-maintained uniform

  • Must maintain a positive demeanor

  • 2 years of prior supervisory experience

  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Availabe to work for the full duration of the US Open tournament and be available days, nights, and extended hours

  • Must be able to work autonomously and as part of a team

  • Valid Driver's License and Forklift Operator experience strongly preferred

  • This position is non-exempt

Salary: $18 per hour; overtime eligible

$35 daily meal allowance during tournament (via credential)
