Miller & Milone, P.C. Administrative Assistant in Garden City, New York

The Administrative Assistant must be a highly motivated, tech-savvy, detail-oriented individual who will support two busy executives. If you enjoy a challenge, this is the position for you.
Responsibilities Include:
• Managing calendars and contact lists
• Scheduling and coordinating meetings, conference calls, and events; reserving and coordinating meeting space
• Running reports; updating databases
• Organizing, prioritizing, and summarizing the contents of e-mails; handling special requests; ensuring pressing issues receive prompt attention; documenting meeting discussions
• Providing historical reference by developing filing and retrieval systems
• Documenting all actions relating to client communication; updating client accounts; liaising with clients
• Preparing letters and legal documents
• Collecting and analyzing information
• Welcoming guests and clients; answering and/or directing inquiries
Position Requirements:
• Ability to draft letters, e-mails, and other correspondence with minimal supervision
• Dependable, attentive to detail, and organized
• Maintain strict confidentiality
• Ability to work in a highly self-directed manner and anticipate needs
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Diplomatic interpersonal skills
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; strong technical skills
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Experience preferred
Full-time, Monday - Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (with flexibility to stay late or come in early as needed)
