Verify members’ benefits, effective dates, claims, and appeal information with insurance companies
Research claims and insurance information in hospital databases
Document reason for denial of each claim in Firm’s database
Ascertain time frames in which claims must be appealed
Provide daily/weekly updates to management
Clear, concise verbal and written communication skills
Comfortable spending up to 75% of day speaking with insurance representatives
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook and Word)
Must be detail-oriented and analytical
Schedule : The position is full-time, Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
