What will my day look like?

Preparing painting surfaces by washing walls, repairing holes, or removing old paint
Applying paints and other finishes to various surfaces
Preparing the surrounding area by covering with cloth or plastic to prevent messes
Moving furniture and equipment as necessary to reach the entire surface of the project
Calculating the amount of materials and time required for said project
Communicates appropriately with all staff, visitors, customers, and patients
Completes all appropriate paperwork
Takes direction from the Facilities Supervisor on issues concerning paint projects; manages productivity and daily job responsibilities
Performs universal precautions and uses personal protective equipment, follows all OSHA, DOH and building regulations
Additional duties may be required, but are not limited to the following: General maintenance repairs including plumbing, electrical, floor covering, and seasonal needs; renovation projects including alterations of walls, carpentry, drywall, electrical, doors, ceilings, plumbing, and floor covering

NYS Driver’s License required (some local travel will be required)

Full time, Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM-2:30 PM. Available some weekends or after hours to accommodate business operations

Horizon 2021 Recruitment Bonus Program
Eligible Hires and Payment Structure:
Full Time hires will receive $300 after 30 days of continuously working and another $300 after 6 months of continuously working for a total bonus of $600.
Part Time hires will receive $150 after 30 days of continuously working and another $150 after 6 months of continuously working for a total bonus of $300.
