About the Role
The Model Citizens on our Hotel team create memorable experiences for our guests who are staying over night, or for an extended period of time at LEGOLAND. Whether you are a Bellman/Valet, greeting the guests as they arrive and assisting them with their bags, or a Guest Service Host assisting with check-in, each of these incredible opportunities are all apart of one dream team. Oh! and don't forget, you could choose to be patrolling the outdoor pool and ensuring the safety of our guests as a Lifeguard! Another opportunity we have to ensure the safety of our guests, is in the role of a Security Guard ensuring all protocols are followed within the Hotel.
This position will oversee the safety of hotel guests by monitoring the attraction to prevent accidents. Will explain and enforce LEGOLAND New York Resort policies and procedures; assist hotel guests in distress or in danger of drowning. This position will administer First Aid and CPR as needed & maintain records.
Responsible for ensuring all company policies and procedures are adhered to by the self and guests
To ensure a safe working environment at all times for both internal and external guests.
Use and maintain water park facilities and equipment
Follow all health and safety procedures
Acquired product knowledge and keep updated on changes
Be aware of sales opportunities within the resort
Understand the resort’s objectives and what part they can play to ensure success
Ensure water area and capacity is managed per local, state, and federal guidelines
Contribute to innovations that would enhance guest experience
Maintain minimum training as set down by the department’s procedure
Provide medical support from team is appropriate for all guests
Provide excellent guest service with safety in mind
Take pride in their dress & appearance
Demonstrate ownership of all Model Citizen facilities
Friendly, outgoing personality
Ability to make a child’s day memorable
Work as part of a team
Dependable and Responsible (after all our guests depend on you!)
Ability to work outdoors in any weather condition
Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time, and long distances
Flexible Availability around park hours (peak and nonpeak times)
Ability to work nights/weekends/holidays through agreed upon employment
Must be 16 or older
