Unpaid Administrative Internship

Duties:

1. Demonstrate leadership in providing a positive and productive environment for students and staff; place high priority on needs and welfare of students in the context of preparing them for success.

2. Supervise students.

3. Work collegially and collaboratively with the Summer School Principal.

4. Others duties as may be assigned by the Summer School Principal.

   SUPERVISES: Assists the principal with supervision of the student and their programming, as assigned to the Grand Island Summer School Program

   REPORTS TO : Grand Island High School Summer School Principal

   Minimum Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in an approved graduate-level New York State administrative certification program, with emphasis on educational leadership. This experience counts towards the School Building Leader hours requirement.

• Minimum of 5 years teaching experience, including leadership roles.

• Formal letter of endorsement from internship program or field experience coordinator.
