Qualifications:
Possess NYS License and Certification for Speech & Language Disabilities
Flexible, able to collaborate with colleagues in Speech department, as well as other faculty and staff
Communicate effectively and confidentially regarding students' cases
Ability to integrate teachers and parents into the total program
Duties:
Perform therapeutic work in diagnosis and remediation for children with speech disorders
Report to the Committee on Special Education regarding special education pupil's progress
Consult with staff on speech and hearing issues
Participate in case conferences
Make referrals to appropriate agencies when necessary
