Job Title: Framer

Job Description

As a Framer, you will be responsible for measuring and cutting wood and metal, and assembling them into frames using squares, levels, and hammers. This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 months, located in Spencerport, New York.

Hard Skills

• Wood stud framing

• Skilled in hand and power tools

• Proficient in using a carpenter's square

• Proficient in reading blueprints

• OSHA 10 certification

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Spencerport, New York.

Work Environment

Work will take place on commercial construction sites. The environment is indoors, but buildings are not fully heated or cooled, which means it can be cold in the winter and hot in the summer. The team consists of over 25 employees, ranging from helpers to superintendent. Work hours are generally from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, but can vary depending on the requirements set by the general contractor. Each jobsite will vary
