This position is scheduled to work 25 hours per week and the position is currently funded to May 31, 2022.

The Ticket Sales and Operations Coordinator position at Colgate is responsible for coordinating the business operations and management of the athletic ticketing office. This individual will manage relationships with current season ticket holders, prospect for new clients, group sales and individual tickets.

The Ticket Sales and Operations Coordinator will report to the Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing and Fan Engagement.

Proven ability to maintain sales reports or records.
Basic accounting knowledge.
Demonstrated ability to manage a profit & loss, with particular focus on revenue.


Ticket Operations


Knowledge of or ability to learn and execute best practices in college ticket sales and to increase revenue generated from ticket sales.

Strong working knowledge of ticketing platforms or ability to learn a highly-technical system.




Ability and commitment to comply with NCAA, conference and institutional regulations.

Demonstrated ability of maintaining positive and effective relationships with key stakeholders, including alumni, local community, fans, parents, vendors, faculty and other University constituents.

Professional Experience/ Qualifications

Demonstrated outstanding verbal and written communication skills, superior organizational skills and an ability to provide high level customer service and build strong community relationships.
Demonstrated Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite skills, a detail-oriented approach and the ability to reconcile accounts is critical.
Demonstrated collaborative style and the ability to work effectively within a diverse population of patrons, coaches, community members, alumni, students, faculty and staff.
Strong recordkeeping skills.

Preferred Qualifications

A minimum of one year of experience in a collegiate or professional athletics setting is preferred.
Demonstrated knowledge of ticket sales and operations.
Experience with AudienceView or other ticket sales platform.
Demonstrated exposure to grass roots marketing and design concepts, and ticket package promotions.
Demonstrated experience with third party ticket buyers is preferred.
Direct marketing experience is preferred.


An Associates degree is required.

A Bachelor's degree is preferred.


A current valid driver's license, in accordance with the University's Driver Safety and Motor Vehicle Use Policy is required.
