BNB Bank IT Audit Intern in Hauppauge, New York


Summary: As a Summer Intern working with the Vice President - IT Audit Manager in the Audit Department of Dime Community Bank (Dime), you will have responsibilities that include:

Extracting data from various sources (e.g. Excel files, Sharepoint sites, or other files) and building out new documents in MS Word or Excel.

Generating reports, sending communications out, and tracking updates received.

Assisting in planning and fieldwork for IT Audits in progress. Most of the help will be needed in documenting or filling in existing templates.

Updating data in the audit workflow tool, TeamMate+

Working on various ad-hoc projects.

This is a full-time, summer internship Mondays - Fridays, 8:30 am - 5 pm, located on-site at Dime's Corporate Headquarters in Hauppauge, Long Island. You must attach your resume to be considered.


Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Management Information Systems, Business Management or Administration, Computer Science, or Software Engineering.

Must have solid experience in MS Word and Excel.

Experience in creating flowcharts in Visio are a plus, but not required.

You will be working with a lot of data sets that come in various formats. Understanding of relational databases or object-oriented programming a plus.

A self-starter, able to work in a dynamic environment.

Able to prioritize tasks.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

A curiosity to learn.
