Position Purpose and Objectives:Under the direction of the Web Press Manager, the First Pressman - Level 1 is responsible for preparation and directing/training the crew members in press production.This position requires individuals to be able to work within various degrees of noise, temperature, and air quality. Flexibility and patience are required. Must be able to work under stressful conditions. Sitting, standing, pushing and/or/pulling, lifting, and carrying (up to 30 pounds), reaching, squatting, climbing stairs, and kneeling may be required. Reasonable accommodations. The work environment is usually noisy and may be performed while exposed to chemicals and odors commonly associated with printing.
