Position Purpose and Objectives:Under the direction of the Shipping & Receiving Shift Manager, the Shipping Driver is responsible for reviewing job order tickets, shipping, and transporting printing orders to customers.This position requires individuals to work indoors and outdoors in all weather and lighting conditions. This includes sun, rain, snow, cold, heat, etc. The work environment is usually noisy and may be performed while exposed to chemicals and odors commonly associated with printing. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Must be available to work a flexible schedule, which includes days, nights, overnights, and weekendsDeliver and pick-up orders and returnsObey traffic laws and follow established traffic and transportation proceduresLoad and unload work and delivery vans and trucksPrepare all orders for shipment, fill and ship ordersOperate a forklift, pack, and shrink wrap boxes and skidsTurn in receipts received from deliveriesVerify the contents of inventory loads against shipping papersReport any mechanical problems encountered delays, accidents, or other traffic and transportation situations to Supervisor or ManagerVerify the contents of inventory loads against shipping papersOther duties as directed by supervisorApplicant chosen may be eligible for benefits package and other incentives.

Minimum Salary: 18.00 Maximum Salary: 23.00 Salary Unit: Hourly
