Description
Join the fast paced world of embedded controller design at Microchip - the world’s leading embedded controller solutions supplier. The Computing Products Group (CPG) is looking for a Senior Design Engineer I with 4+ years of experience to join our seasoned ASIC design team working on processor based products that are integrated into tablets, notebooks and embedded systems.
The successful candidate will be involved in:
Collaborating on the Architectural Definition of a Product.
All aspects of System on Chip ASIC Development methodologies .
Communicating and coordinating with cross-functional Engineering teams.
Requirements
BE/BTech/BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Masters degree is a plus
4+ years of relevant experience
Should be familiar in technical disciplines relating to ASIC design such as:
Architecture and Microarchitecture development
System Verilog RTL Design coding
Block and Chip-Level Verification with UVM
Pre-Silicon FPGA Design Emulation
Synthesis and Static Timing Analysis
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work remotely with cross-functional teams across multiple sites.
Positive Can-Do and Team player attitude a must
Strong scripting skills using Perl/Python/Tcl
Proficiency with Programming languages like C, Verilog/VHDL
Experience with CAD tools such as Design Compiler, PrimeTime, Tessent, Formality, NCVerilog, Questa, Calibre, HSpice, SpyGlass, etc…
