Snow removal workers - 4 Fulltime, Temporary, Seasonal (H-2B) jobs available 11/07/2024-04/01/2024.

Employer: Ted Hosmer Enterprises Inc., 1231 Lehigh St. Rd., Henrietta, NY 14467.

Duties: Perform commercial and residential snow/ice maintenance including winter storm clean-up, trash/organic debris pickup, and snow/ice removal. Remove snow from sidewalks, driveways, or parking areas using snow blowers or snow shovels, or spread snow-melting chemicals. Clean and perform routine maintenance and/or minor repairs on equipment and tools when not in use. Perform basic cleaning/tidying in workshop by moving equipment and furniture, dusting, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming. Must lift/carry 50 lbs., when necessary. Saturday and Sunday work required, when necessary. Must possess or be able to obtain U.S. driver's license within 30 days of hire. On-the-job training will be provided to the worker. Employer may offer more than the stated work hours, depending on weather, business needs, and other conditions. Extreme heat, cold, rain, or drought may affect exact working hours.

Work hours: Wed-Sun, 7:00am- 3:30pm, 40 hours/week at $17.85/hour. Overtime time offered $26.78 hrly

No minimum education requirement; 2months experience required. Employer will provide on-the-job training and will to accept a trainee.

A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. Workers will be paid weekly on Friday. All deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law will be made.

Employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job.

H-2B workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees).

Transportation (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed, if the worker completes half the employment period. Return transportation will be provided if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early by the employer. Daily subsistence rates are $15.88/day without receipts or up to $59/day with receipts.
