JOB SUMMARY
A Seasonal Intern is hired on a temporary basis and works under direct supervision to provide a variety of clerical and administrative services within a functional area or department.
Prepares documents/forms for scanning. Performs scanning and indexing of documents according to defined criteria and guidelines. May retrieve and/or copy documents as needed or requested and routes to the appropriate department or third party. Organizes and boxes documents for offsite storage and/or destruction and coordinates sending and receiving of documents with offsite vendor. May perform basic electronic and paper document imaging quality review and correction functions. May prepare correspondence, memoranda, reports, meeting agenda and minutes and presentation material. Opens, sorts and distributes incoming mail; assembles correspondence for mailing. May receive and direct visitors, answers and screens telephone calls, takes messages, provides information, redirects calls as appropriate. Maintains appropriate records, file documentation, etc. Performs special projects, and additional duties and responsibilities as required. Where applicable and when performing the responsibilities of the job, employees are accountable to maintain Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and adhere to internal control policies and procedures.
