Your role on the Gold Star Service team :

You will be the driving force to provide solutions for installations and repairs with the highest integrity to potential and existing customers. You are the expert our customers trust to enter their home or business and give brilliant advice about what their home needs. The team at Gold Star Service trusts you to build a positive relationship with every customer and act responsibly and professionally in every situation.

You will be accountable for delivery of highly efficient field sales services for HVAC, Plumbing and Drain Cleaning & Maintenance, while meeting or exceeding all company and industry standards for technical work and customer satisfaction. You will hold P&L responsibility for the company’s HVAC, Plumbing and Drain Cleaning divisions and will work with Directors and Managers to develop processes, procedures and systems to achieve ever-improving high quality service delivery. This includes service delivery by company service experts, all subcontractors and vendors.

You will also be responsible for, and evaluated on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) relative to revenue, profitability, labor callbacks, customer satisfaction and customer reviews to name a few.

As our resident expert, your knowledge and skills include:

  • Five or more years of experience as a residential or commercial Sales Representative, specifically in the service trades like HVAC, Plumbing and Drain Repair & Maintenance

  • Ability to show leadership and work independently or with a team member

  • Excellent customer communications skills

  • Open to learning more with continued education

  • Ability to read blue-prints

  • Knowledge of best practices, safety and installation methods

  • Valid NYS driver’s license and clean driving and criminal records as required by state laws for home service companies and by company insurance carrier(s)

  • Ability to troubleshoot and provide customers with the best options and financing

  • Present a neat, clean, professional appearance

  • Flexible availability, depending on the season and circumstance

  • Excellent time management skills

  • Motivated and able to work independently

  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills are definitely required.
