Apply knowledge of finance, accounting, and business administration principles in a Financial Services corporate setting. Our Internal Audit Department is looking for Interns who would like to gain valuable experience evaluating and improving upon the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes across various lines of business within the organization.


With oversight from an Internal Audit Manager, Intern will perform the following functions:

Assist with audit planning and execution of test procedures.

Assist with audit testing required under the Sarbanes Oxley law.

Assist with preparation of clear, concise work paper documentation that provides adequate detail of work performed and conclusions reached, and meets IAD and professional standards.

In a timely manner, assists in identifying control issues and findings, and ensuring findings are based on relevant facts.

Participates in meetings.

Manages time (by keeping informed of audit status and hours incurred) to meet established deadlines, milestones, and time budgets.

Responds to requests, and fosters positive working relationships with auditees and the audit team.


Performs special projects, and additional duties and responsibilities as required.

Where applicable and when performing the responsibilities of the job, Interns are accountable to maintain Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and adhere to internal control policies and procedures.
