Job Title: Marketing Coordinator

SUMMARY: The Marketing Coordinator is a vital member of the casino marketing team, responsible for providing essential support in the execution and coordination of direct mail campaigns, projects, and initiatives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

  • Resolves customer complaints and questions in regards to marketing initiatives.

  • Edits customer lists and is responsible for the security of customer lists for the property.

  • Thoroughly reviews and proofreads all direct mail offer matrices and copy in order to identify and correct errors and/or omissions.

  • Key user of IGT Advantage Patron Management.

  • Assist in direct mail and promotional uploads to Patron Management and Atrient kiosk.

  • Update database, process return mail, and system maintenance for in Patron Management.

  • Help develop and communicate messages on promotions, entertainment and special events in a timely manner as necessary for planned events and any unanticipated occurrences.

  • Coordinate and promote casino activities and special guest functions and act in a public relations capacity at casino-sponsored events.

  • Responsible for planning and execution of casino seasonal décor and events.

  • Provide exceptional customer service to all patrons and communicate in a pleasant, friendly and professional manner at all times. Maintain a professional work environment with supervisors, managers and staff.

  • Other duties as assigned by the Director of Marketing and Advertising Manager.

  • Must be able to work a varied schedule, weekends and holidays as needed.

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or General Diploma (GED).

    LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, guests, and the general public.

    REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodation. While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to walk. The associate is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The associate must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

The position exists in a casino work environment where there is occasional exposure of the associate to noise and cigarette smoke from the casino floor.
