Landscape Laborer - 13 fulltime, temporary, seasonal (H-2B) jobs available 4/1/21-11/21/21.

Employer: Josh Lawn Care & Landscaping, Inc., 106 West Main St., Honeoye Falls, NY 14472.

Duties: Landscape or maintain grounds of property using hand or power tools or equipment. Workers typically perform a variety of tasks, which may include any combination of the following: sod laying, mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, raking, sprinkler installation, and installation of mortarless segmental concrete masonry wall units. Must be able to lift/carry 50 pounds.

Transportation provided from main worksite in Monroe County to multiple worksites in Monroe, Livingston and Ontario counties, NY.

No education or experience required. On the job training provided.

Pre-employment and post injury or incident drug test required at employer expense.

Applicants must complete an employment application.

Work hours: Normal work schedule: Mon-Fri, 7am-5pm; Minimum of 35 hours/week (up to 40 hours/week) at $15.72/hour. Possible OT (but not guaranteed) at $23.58/hour. Work days and shift time may vary with weather. Employer may increase wage based on experience and or provide additional pay for performance and tenure.

Must be able to work a 5 day schedule, may include weekends and holidays.

A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. Workers will be paid weekly. All deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law will be made.

Employer may assist worker in securing housing, if desired. Worker to pay rent directly to the third party; there will be no payroll deduction or payment to employer for housing.

Employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. Employer to provide and launder company-specific uniforms at no cost.

The employer guarantees to offer work for hours to at least 3/4 of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period.

H-2B workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees).

Transportation (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed, if the worker completes half the employment period. Return transportation will be provided if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early by the employer. Daily subsistence rates are $12.68/day without receipts or up to $55/day with receipts.
