Huerta Construction and Remodeling LLC Carpenter Helper in Hudson, New York
Carpenter Helper - 3 fulltime, temporary, seasonal (H-2B) jobs available 4/1/25-12/15/25.
Employer: Huerta Construction and Remodeling, LLC, 542 Prospect St, Hudson, NY 12534.
Duties: Help carpenter by carrying or holding materials and tools. Clean up construction areas Load and unload trucks. Transportation provided by employer to/from multiple worksites in Columbia and Greene Counties from central location.
No education required. 2 months experience required.
Work Hours: Mon-Sat, 8am-4pm for a total of 40 hours/wk at $22.33/hr. OT at $33.50/hr.
A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. Workers will be paid weekly on Monday. All deductions from the workers paycheck required by law will be made.
Employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job.
H-2B workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees).
Transportation (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed, if the worker completes half the employment period. Return transportation will be provided if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early by the employer. Daily subsistence rates are $15.88/day without receipts or up to $59/day with receipts.
