Performs routine and extensive preventative maintenance and repair procedures on all properties managed by Hunter Resort Vacations. Performs minor and major repair of all buildings in rooms as needed. (Major repairs are performed under the supervision of the maintenance manager and supervisor.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure that the Facility is kept in a perpetual state of cleanliness and good order.
Ability to work independently to complete repair tasks in guests/owners rooms
Experience in minor plumbing, electric, painting and sheet rock repairs
Attend all training on safety and procedures offered at the resort.
Keep work area neat and clean.
Responsible for looking at daily work orders and completing tasks timely to ensure owners and rentals can be placed in all rooms.
Review previous day shift reports to be able to move forward with daily tasks as assigned.
Have a friendly demeanor, employee will often have to work in a room during a guests stay.
Assists with housekeeping as needed for tasks like trash removal, linen removal, checking vacant rooms
Responsible for reading and understanding weekly safety sheets and MSDS.
Responsible to complete honeycombs for tasks requiring such action
Must be able to work independently or within a group setting.
Must possess basic knowledge of plumbing
Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 75lbs.
Able to adapt to any environment as work in maintenance may be assigned outdoors.
Painting, sheetrock and tape experienced.
Pool knowledge is a bonus, but training will be provided. Staff need to understand DOH guidelines.
Ability to troubleshoot problems and use critical thinking.
Additional experience may be substituted for education.
Position requires work inside and outside the facility, with some exposure to adverse weather and working conditions.
Position involves walking the facility and grounds, operating equipment as needed, climbing, kneeling and lifting.
Hours of work are dictated by events and maintenance schedules vary event to event.

Ability to frequently lift/carry, push/pull up to 25lbs
Ability to occasionally lift/carry, push/pull up to 75lbs
Continual use of manual dexterity and gross motor skills, with frequent use of bi-manual dexterity and fine motor skills.
Able to reach hands and arms in any direction and kneel, stoop or crouch repeatedly.
