The merchandising assistant will support the merchandising team with style creation & attribution in the merchandising tool, while also being the key partner to our sample department on any sample orders, alterations, etc. This role will involve cross functional communication with our design, merchandise operations, sample management, buying, sales, sourcing teams. As this role will be responsible for data accuracy, being detail oriented & a good listener will be one of the keys to success in this role. At EILEEN FISHER, we are a very collaborative company, so this role will continue to grow & evolve as processes advance and teamwork flows.
Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist merchandising team by maintaining the merchandising tools and accuracy of the line changes
Responsible for all style attribution in the merchandising tool
Input the sample order seasonally & ensure all mainline samples are ordered in a timely manner
Assist in any Nu Order photoshoot trouble shooting
Key partner for any market tools for internal and external accounts
Responsible for prepping and attending milestone meetings
Support all necessary merchandising functions when needed
PERFORMS OTHER RELATED DUTIES AND ASSIGNMENTS AS REQUIRED.
Required SkillsRequired Experience
Education:College degree or equivalent experience
Required Skills &Experience:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Highly organized and detail oriented
Proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) & Adobe
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Any PLM systems experience would be a plus
