The EILEEN FISHER Direct to Consumer channel is the greatest expression of our brand vision. The DTC Buying Team plays a crucial role in bringing that vision to life through the product assortment. The Senior Manager of Digital Merchandising is responsible for bringing the brand to life through product storytelling online. The role will balance the art and science of merchandising compelling product, values, fabric, shape and how to wear stories. The role will use a variety of different analytics to build on past successes and will look outside to bring a fresh perspective each season. This includes partnering with the Buying team and determining online features based on design intent and excitement, customer needs and loves, and brand new ideas.
Summary of Duties and Responsibilities: • Lead the process of Digital Content Creation for EILEEN FISHER website and emails, organizing teams and sharing information throughout the brainstorming process.• Weigh in and partner on quantities bought by style to ensure stories are supported. • Responsible for collaborating to create stories told online and in email including collection shops, fabric and shape features, and partnering on product selection.• Create and maintain all site merchandising documents, including homepage, collection shops, content blocks and email plans• Partner with Design Concept and internal creative teams to refine DTC stories and ultimately present them, kicking off seasonal creative work.• Set the strategy and oversee all site merchandising, guiding the Digital Site Merchandisers to organize products in a way that tells a clear story and is easily shoppable for the customer.• Regularly study the website for potential merchandising improvements in real time and use learnings to react to successes and challenges for next season.• Work with the Digital Analyst and Digital Site Merchandisers to identify a set of reports that will provide key insights needed on a regular basis.• Contribute to monthly Digital meetings, providing insight into web analytics and suggesting actions to improve engagement and conversion.• Review product inventory levels to ensure online storytelling is supported, reacting when necessary to adjust site merchandising and email plans.• Partner with PR, Marketing and Social Media teams as needed on product recommendations and approval.• Review Store Leader feedback, Customer Service reports and Customer Reviews to gain insight into customer needs and stories that resonate.

Required SkillsRequired Experience
Bachelors Degree required
• 5-10 years of Digital Merchandising experience in the retail industry• Skilled at Visual and Digital Merchandising, putting together fabrics, looks and shape stories and balancing color• Ability to synthesize many data points to draw conclusions and easily summarize key takeaways• Can easily communicate what is driving our success and what to repeat and expand upon• Highly organized individual who can keep the team on track to meet competing deadlines• Ability to work in a collaborative environment• Ability to prioritize and handle competing priorities• Strong attention to detail• Strong communication skills
