Position Summary: Reporting to the company’s General Counsel, you will support the legal department across all aspects of the company’s work, including in connection with real estate, corporate and regulatory compliance, risk management, intellectual property, and direct-to-consumer sales. Your responsibilities will include contract review and analysis, corporate compliance, lease review, and other projects, as needed, at the direction of the General Counsel.

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities: • Assisting in contract review and analysis; maintenance of contract management system• Providing overall support for all legal-real estate matters, assisting with the review of leases, amendments, and other real estate documents • Facilitating compliance with legal department policies and procedures, including record retention, privileged document protocols and the legal hold process• Maintaining business licenses and providing overall support for corporate filings • Overseeing the availability and access to board and governance resources, including managing the board portal

PERFORMS OTHER RELATED DUTIES AND ASSIGNMENTS AS REQUIRED.

Required SkillsRequired Experience

Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred

Required Skills &Experience: • Prior paralegal experience• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, document management software, and other software programs• Excellent written and oral communications skills• Strong organizational skills• Ability to perform independent project-based work and make independent decisions• Ability to handle highly confidential information discreetly and professionally• Ability to work well under pressure, handle multiple tasks, and complete tasks in a deadline-oriented environment
