The Opportunity

You will join our New York office Profit Improvement (PI) practice as part of EY Financial Services Organization (FSO).

  • You will advise clients from financial institutions (e.g., Banking, Capital Markets, Insurance, Wealth and Asset Managers) to improve:

  • Client vendor management and procurement operating model design

  • Process improvements across the entire vendor management lifecycle stages

  • Category management

  • Vendor sourcing strategies

  • Contract lifecycle management

  • Relationship and performance management

  • Benefits realization

  • Compliance and controls

  • Data and reporting capabilities

  • Change management

  • Spend analytics

  • Governance

  • Inventory management

  • You will assist in business development and lead the delivery of engagements, for example:

  • Support the development of client proposals and thought leadership

  • Using client's strategic objectives and fact-base, apply structured problem-solving to solve complex problems

  • Analyze our client's business and operating models and engage with senior client and EY leadership to develop innovative procurement transformation, sourcing and vendor management solutions

  • Stay abreast of leading industry practices and innovation

  • You will work in small teams of highly motivated colleagues with various cultural and professional backgrounds

  • You will also support developing new offerings and thought leadership to take to market, enhancing our capabilities and services

Your key responsibilities

You will be responsible supporting client engagements, working with high-performing teams to analyze, evaluate and enhance our clients' strategic procurement vendor management business strategies and processes. You will interface with clients at all levels of an organization to help them solve their most challenging questions. You will also support the Process Improvement practice in developing new offerings and thought leadership to take to market, enhancing our capabilities and services. You will also be part of business development efforts developing high-quality proposals.

To qualify for the role you must have

  • A bachelor's degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related field

  • A minimum of two years of related work experience (or one year after a master's degree

  • Experience at a financial services company or comparable experience working as a consultant in a professional services firm delivering advisory services is preferred but not required

• The salary range for this position in Hartford CT is minimum $88,00 and maximum is $116,300 .

• The salary range for this position in Stamford CT, and Greenwich CT is minimum $96,700 and maximum is $179,600.
