Summer Sign-on Bonus

A candidate who is hired by Gateway between 6/15 – 8/15/2021 will receive a sign-on bonus of $250 after the first 90 days of employment and an additional $250 after 180 days of employment.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Program Operations

  • Participate as member of the clinical team under the supervision of the Director of Clinical Services

     

  • Participate in the development of Personalized Recovery Plans

     

  • Coordinate with the other members of the clinical treatment team including Psychiatrist, Nurse Practitioner, Social Worker/Mental Health Counselors and professional staff

     

  • Coordinate and organize clinical treatment schedule as needed

     

  • Work closely with the program psychiatrist under the supervision of the Director of Clinical Services

     

  • Facilitate classes on wellness self-management, health maintenance and basic living skills

     

  • Provide first aid and nursing care to program participants; make referrals for treatment, as appropriate

     

  • Maintain accurate health records and documentation on all individuals in accordance with agency regulations

     

  • Serve as a member of the agency Health and Safety Committee

Qualifications

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

 

Education:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) Licensed in NYS

     

    Experience:

  • One year experience (mental health experience preferred)

  • Valid NYS driver’s license, must maintain a driving record that meets the insurable criteria of the Agency’s automobile insurance carrier

  • Must have a favorable result from the federal/state exclusions background check as well as a background check facilitated through fingerprinting and mandated by NYS law Chapter 575.

  • Must be able to sit or stand for 8 hours/day

  • Must be able to bend down or kneel occasionally (1-2 times/week)

  • Must have a favorable result from all state, federal, and agency mandated background checks
