We have a new leadership opportunity at The Arc Mid-Hudson for a Residential Coordinator, supporting individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities, in our Kingston West Region.
This position supports two of our residences: Alison and Ashokan.
Alison House is a single-level ranch-style home located in the Town of Hurley, tucked away in a quiet and wooded neighborhood with beautiful landscaping, perfect for summer BBQ’s and picnics. Minutes away from Uptown Kingston, there are numerous shops and restaurants to frequent. Seven people reside at Alison House and have been living in their home together for over twenty years. They enjoy attending music concerts, sporting events and weekend getaways throughout the year. The Ashokan residence is a lovely home located in the Lomontville/Marbletown area, just outside of Kingston. The people who live at this beautiful home enjoy a wide variety of activities; such as shopping, going to the movies, frequenting their favorite coffee shop, going to the reservoir for a picnic or going to the park to listen to music. If you enjoy being involved in your community and you have a strong desire to inspire and enrich the lives of others as they pursue their goals and ambitions, you will enjoy working at the Ashokan home.
The seasoned, organized leader for this dynamic role will possess strong managerial experience and excellent communication skills. Flexibility is a must. A minimum of three years of experience with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities is required. A Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Psychology, or a related field is required. We offer a competitive salary and very generous benefits package.

HOURS: 40/Monday through Friday - 9:00 am to 5:00pm/based on needs of programs
Bachelors degree in Human Services, Psychology, or related field ishighly preferred
Acceptable NYS Driver's License
