Teton Management Corporation RV Campground Manager in Lake Ontario, New York

Job Description: Do you love camping and the outdoors and have property management experience? Are you looking for an exciting way to spend the summer season and have a great time in the process? We are looking for an RV Campground Manager who has a wide array of management, sales, and customer service experience. As an RV Campground Manager, you will be in charge and manage the daily operations for a minimum of two RV Campgrounds located close to Lake Ontario, NY. Working within the campground industry requires comfort in guest servicing, as the cliental is strongly seasonal, with a small percentage of short-term transient campers. In addition to the daily management of the properties, there will be sales and marketing duties to maximize residential occupancy. Seasonal position: May to October

The ideal candidate would be:
* Organized organizational skills are essential!
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel (helpful)
* Able to work with a wide range of campers/park visitors/vendors
* Proactive and takes pride in a job well done
* Takes initiative and demonstrates attention to detail
* Must be a quick learner and adapt to changing situations
* Ability to learn property management software, process applications, and generate leases
* Able to collect payments, issue receipts, and manage work orders
* Skilled at working with onsite maintenance and property vendors

Job duties:
* Responds to guest and resident inquiries and complaints
* Create an enjoyable community environment for campers and employees
* Works with the marketing team to increase reservations and occupancy and promote activities at the
* parks by providing photos and details for social media posts
* Manages and leads team throughout multiple parks
* Maintains impeccable grounds and enforces rules and regulations
* Coordinates onsite park staff and ensures all team members comply with appropriate policies and
* operational procedures
* Manage accounts receivable and payable for both parks
* Responsible for seasonal goals and profitability of parks

Requirements:
* High School Diploma or GED, with secondary education
* Minimum of 4 years property management/resort experience, including 2 years of supervisory experience
* Previous sales and leasing experience preferred
* General knowledge of property maintenance
* Solid negotiation skills
* The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
* Working knowledge of basic accounting principles
* Basic computer proficiency, including email, the internet, and Microsoft Office Suite; experience using AppFolio preferred
* Flexibility to respond to campers' needs during non-business hours
Rewarding Benefits:
Salary range: $35 - 45K Full-time seasonal position: May to October
