Position Summary:Diversified Accounts Payable Tasks. Hands-on working with the Agency network computerized system Great Plains Dynamics.

Essential Accountabilities:

  • Coding all Accounts Payable.

  • Enter all Accounts Payable in Great Plains

  • Reviewing Staff Expense Reports.

  • Voucher Staff Expense Reports.

  • Responsible for Processing Petty Cash bi-weekly for Entire Agency and PC.

  • Transaction entering batching invoices, entering invoices; matching invoices with Purchase Order.

  • Printing Checks.

  • Preparing Manual Checks.

  • Clearing Intercompany Items for ALL Operating Companies.

  • Handle problems and maintain good relationship with Vendors via phone.

  • This does not limit the assignment of duties nor exclude the performance of other duties not mentioned assigned by Manager.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required). Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred).

  • Proven experience in accounts payable or a related finance/accounting role (typically 1-3 years)

  • Experience with accounting software

  • Familiarity with general accounting principles and financial regulations

  • Experience working with vendors and handling inquiries

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information

  • Familiarity with vendor management and dispute resolution

  • Ability to process a high volume of invoices in a timely and accurate manner

  • Time management skills and ability to meet deadlines

  • Knowledge of tax laws and compliance requirements (e.g., 1099 reporting)
