Our client, a growing company in the service industry, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Customer Service & Billing Manager to join their dynamic team. This is a direct hire opportunity in the Lancaster, NY area!
Responsibilities:
Oversee and lead both the customer service and billing department to ensure efficient and effective operations.
Manage a team of customer service and billing specialists, providing guidance, training, and support.
Utilize your extensive customer service experience to address customer inquiries, concerns, and escalations, ensuring a positive customer experience.
Handle quoting, invoicing, billing, and accounts receivable processes with accuracy and attention to detail.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve billing discrepancies and enhance customer satisfaction.
Develop and implement best practices for customer service and billing procedures.
Analyze and report on key performance indicators related to customer service and billing.
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a customer service and billing role, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
Strong leadership and management skills with a proven ability to motivate and develop a team.
Solid understanding of billing processes, accounts receivable, invoicing, and quoting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and internal teams.
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
Proficient in relevant software and tools, including billing systems and customer relationship management (CRM) software.
