Middle School Summer School, grades 6-8. Project-based learning, focusing on concepts and skills necessary for success in math. Skills in cooperative learning, project-based learning, differentiated instruction, collaborative teaming, formative assessment and positive behavior management and motivation will be preferred. Teacher will be expected to utilize instructional pedagogy espoused by the district. Teacher will work together to create curricula for summer school.
SPECIAL NOTES:
· Curriculum Writing: July 8 - July 11
· Instructional dates: July 15 - August 8 (subject to change)
· Instructional day: 7:45 am-12:15 pm
o Monday - Thursday· Regents Exams: August 19thand 20th(if needed)
