WSP is currently initiating a search for an ITS (Intelligent Transportation Systems) Manager to be located in the Northeastern U.S. The right candidate may sit out of any mutually agreed WSP USA Northeastern office location.
Be involved in projects with our Transit & Rail Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client's objectives and solves their challenges.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead project teams and direct subject matter experts, and third-party partners to design and implement ITS (Intelligent Transportation Systems) and system projects.
Deliver quality projects on schedule and meet the budget and financial requirements established for the projects (both for the client as well as WSP).
Provide quality assurance and quality control oversight.
Prepare technical reports and cost estimates which include the creation of functional and technical specification documentation.
Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
Who You Are
Bachelor's Degree in Transportation, Transportation Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field.
12+ years of related experience and responsibilities delivering ITS bus and rail solutions for public transit authorities.
Experience with designing and implementing Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD), Automatic Vehicle Location (AVL), Automated Voice Annunciation (AVA), Mobile Data Terminals (MDT), Automatic Passenger Counting (APC), Paratransit and Fixed-Route Scheduling Software, and Dynamic Passenger Information (DPI) Systems.
Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Strong technical writing, analytical and communication skills.
Detail-oriented with an emphasis on quality work products.
The selected candidate must have the ability to work in the United States immediately.
Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.
Master's degree is a plus.
Experience with conceptual plans, specifications and proposal development.

Compensation Expected Salary (all locations): $125,200 - $255,400
WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location. WSP USA reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s sex or other status protected by local, state, and/or federal law.
