Job TitleVerywell Health Editorial Intern Job Description About the DDM Summer Internship Program: The Dotdash Meredith Summer Internship Program is a 10 week full time program that runs from June 12th through August 18th, based out of our New York or Des Moines office depending on the team. The intern program consists of hands-on learning, opportunities to create work that has an impact on the business, along with workshops in preparing you for post-college life (resume / interviewing) plus, some fun events throughout the summer! The two brands included are and Verywell Health. This role will report to the Senior Social Editor and collaborate closely with the Social Media Coordinator. About the Role: A Dotdash Meredith health vertical social media internship is an opportunity for an intern to gain exposure to the rapid-paced editorial environment, boost social media strategy skills, learn all about content creation within the health space, and manage the organizational aspects of social media planning. This intern will work on things like: Day-to-day management of various social media platforms including, but not limited to, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, and Pinterest. Curating and designing appropriate content to repurpose for social media. Analyzing social media data and analytics. Assisting the social media team with daily organizational tasks. About You: You're interested in the health and wellness industry. You have the ability to collaborate seamlessly with other teams. You're an organized and productive social media expert in the making and have a strong interest in both content creation and strategy work. Actual pay may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance.
