This is an Association with Patrician Verona dba Hosmer Winery, Thirsty Owl Wine Company & Buttonwood Vineyards, and Boundary Breaks LLC, as members.
Manually plant, cultivate, care for, and harvest grapes. Use hand tools, such as, but not limited to: trowels, pick irons, hammers, pry bars, wire tighteners, shovels, pickaxes, tampers, pruning shears, loppers, and picking shears. Duties include tiling soil, spreading fertilizer, planting, translating, weeding, pruning, thinning crops, moving catch wires, hedging, installation and removal of bird/animal deterrents such a netting, seeding cover crops, applying mulch/compost, leaf removal, applying fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides, operation of [power equipment such as chain saws, trimmers, hedgers, power washers, operation and maintenance of tractors and tractor pulling equipment used in day to day vineyard operation, picking, sorting, loading harvested product, maintain & repair trellises, fences, machinery, equipment, buildings, landscaping, drainage systems and ditches, irrigation systems, hand harvest and load harvested fruit.
Requirements: * Minimum of 3 months agricultural (Farming) experience preferably vineyard * Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds * Drug testing can be performed post hire at the employer's expense * Exposure to extreme temperatures * Extensive pushing/pulling/sitting/walking, frequent stooping, and repetitive movements
