This Queens, New York Customer Service Representative position could be for you, if you're available for a short-term contract / temporary to hire opportunity. This position is located in a dynamic, rapidly-changing call center. Prior experience with customer service/data entry is highly preferred.

How you will make an impact

  • Handle incoming telephone calls

  • Give exceptional customer service in a timely fashion

  • Support the logistics/shipping team with sales order entries and inventory tracking

  • Receive and send written business correspondence

    Requirements - Proficient with computers and technology platforms

  • Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with internal and external partners and clients/customers

  • Ability to effectively interact, verbally and in writing

  • Excellent customer service and office administrative skills

    • Proven knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, e.g. ACT!, Illustrator, Highrise, and Insightly
  • Upbeat, positive attitude and an approach to work rooted in professionalism

  • Experience with customer service

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word

  • Order entry experience desired

  • Deep understanding of Microsoft Excel

  • Foundational knowledge in sales

  • Experience performing extensive research to resolve complex customer inquiries

  • 2+ years' experience of demonstrated performance in a goal-driven & customer-focused environment preferred

  • Strong problem-solving skills
