Who we?re looking for?

RWS Entertainment Group is currently seeking a FINANCE COORDINATOR to serve as PAYROLL ADMINISTRATOR within the company.

About the role?

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, quantitative thinker who is adept at noticing errors, must be able to multi-task and prioritize as well as remain highly organized. The payroll administrator will be in charge of the payroll of about 300 performers on a biweekly basis.

What?s expected?

  • Process biweekly payroll for approximate 300 performers and/or seasonal

    employees likely to be servicing different projects or clients.

  • Collect time sheets and ensure accuracy.

  • Respond to all payroll related inquires.

  • Import biweekly payroll data into our AP software

  • Proficient knowledge and utilization of payroll database system. Should be familiar with applicable programs: invoice, batch, timecards and reports, timecard verification, payroll history, cast list, gross wages, per diem, housing deposits, et.

  • Onboard performers and/or seasonal employees on the appropriate payroll system.

  • Request the appropriate documentation and maintains accurate data.

  • Performs other related duties and assignments as assigned.

What you bring?

  • Four-year college degree preferred

  • Excellent oral and written communication ability

  • Ability to work towards team and individual goals

  • Knowledge in using an analytical approach to breaking payroll

  • Must exhibit sense of urgency with regards to performer payroll

  • Excellent time management skills

  • Excellent Office 365 skills

  • Flexibility to shift priorities as needed to service the department needs

  • Understanding of and commitment to maintaining current knowledge of industry trends, concepts, products, practices and financial arrangement

  • Must have the ability to break payroll and learn advanced concepts when ready

  • Self-motivated, must be able to work independently, goal oriented and people oriented

  • Must have a minimum of 1-year experience in the entertainment payroll industry.
